Terms and Conditions

At Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea we aim to help you every step of the way. We have set out our terms and conditions below to ensure that when you book us to transport you on your special day you feel confident about our service to you. Please take a moment to read the information set out below as it may help to answer any questions you have. Before you begin to plan the use of your wedding car it is important that you consider some of the limitations and restrictions of use. As these are generally legal or insurance constraints no exceptions can ever be made. There are no seatbelts in the rear of our vehicle, therefore, we cannot carry children under the age of three. Any children over the age of three remain the responsibility of the client at all times and must be accompanied by an adult. It must also be considered that, as we do not have hackney carriage licence, we are only insured to carry the wedding party and we cannot accommodate any exceptions to this. If you are unsure of anything please do not hesitate to contact us.

Booking our Services: by accepting our service either verbally or in writing you are entering into a legally binding contract. The client (when referred to in these terms and conditions) is the person who undertakes the booking and will be responsible for that booking thereafter. Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 7 days and will only be confirmed once a non-refundable deposit of 50% has been paid.

Payment can take the form of: Personal cheques made payable to Nigel Morter; bank transfers - phone us for details; or in cash in person. Unconfirmed bookings will be made available to other clients after the 7 day period has elapsed and no deposit has been received. We are happy to make any amendments or adjustments to the booking (providing they can be accommodated) if they are communicated in a timely fashion and confirmed in writing by the client.

Booking Price is the all inclusive price quoted once a route has been agreed between Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea and the Client - this will constitute the 'contract' between us and will be given in writing by Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea. Any amendments or adjustments to the booking beyond this agreement (such as an extra trip) will be charged on a separate invoice. The balance is due 10 working days prior to the booking date. If you are making a late booking (between 14 and 28 days before the event) the full balance will be required before the booking is confirmed. Please note that bookings where the final payment has not been received 5 working days prior to the event will be cancelled. Any bookings commencing after 6pm will incur a 25% surcharge (added to the quoted price at the time of booking).

Cancellations must be made, in writing (outlining the reasons for cancellation), 10 weeks prior to the event otherwise the client may be asked to pay the full outstanding balance. A full refund will be given minus the deposit if the cancellation is longer than 10 weeks prior to the event. Postponements are deemed as cancellations and will be treated in the same way.

Changes to Bookings: Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea reserves the right to refuse a booking. We also reserve the right to alter a booking in unforeseen circumstances - this may result in a comparable vehicle being used (where available) or a full refund (including deposit) being given. At Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea we respect our clients and expect the same in return - bookings may be terminated if this not the case (such as violence threatened or anti-social behaviour). Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea reserve the right to cancel a booking, without notice, as bad weather or intolerable road conditions demand (including snow, ice, fog). Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea cannot not be held responsible for any inconvenience or disappointment caused by these unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event of breakdowns prior to the booked service Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea will, if possible, supply a replacement vehicle from our available vehicles. If the supply of another vehicle is not possible a full refund will be given. Should a breakdown occur during the booked service and Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea is unable to complete the booking (i.e. fulfilling the terms of the contract), a full refund will be given. Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea will not be held responsible for any inconvenience or disappointment caused by the unforeseen circumstance of a breakdown.

There is a reasonable amount of time included in the booking schedule to allow for photographs particularly in the period between the conclusion of the ceremony and arrival at the reception. However, should you wish to make other arrangements that will extend the waiting time we will require these in advance particularly if they involve greater driving distances otherwise it may be impossible to accommodate these requests.

Please note we operate a strict no smoking policy in or around all of the cars. In addition no food or drink can be consumed in any of the vehicles without the prior consent of Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea. Clients are liable for any damage caused to the vehicles or loss of any property belonging to Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea by themselves or any of their party and will be subsequently invoiced for any damage/loss caused. Vehicles are checked before leaving the final destination for passenger's belongings. However Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea will not accept any liability for any belongings lost or damaged by the booking party whilst using its services.
